I charge $150 PFH with an agreed upon deposit up front and then the remainder due upon project completion. Time frame depends upon project length, but you can expect completion in about a month.

This can vary depending on the rate of speech of the narrator, but an easy way to calculate the ballpark run time of your prospective audiobook is Word Count divided by 9,300.
What to Expect
- After agreed upon deposit is received, Kitty will record the first full chapter, edited and fully mastered, for you to review. If you decide to proceed, Kitty will continue recording the remainder of the project within the agreed upon time frame, or about a month.
- Once production is complete and you make the final payment based on the finished run time of your new audiobook, Kitty will send you the UNMASTERED, but edited, files for you and/or your beta listeners to review within a reasonable time frame. (This just means the files cannot be uploaded for sale yet).
- Once you've noted any needed changes or revisions (because just like writing a book, it's always helpful to have someone listen to it too in case something slipped through the cracks), Kitty will go back and implement them to the best of her ability, then master all files to ACX standards and return them along with an agreed upon excerpt file for listeners to preview, ready for upload to the platform of your choosing.
Policies and Procedures
- Upon collection of deposit, Kitty will record and master the first chapter for client to review. If found satisfactory, production will continue to completion within agreed upon time frame and deposit will be NON-REFUNDABLE. If client is unsatisfied, deposit will be refunded in full upon cancellation.
- Final payment is due upon completion of project BEFORE files are sent for review. Once final payment is received and files are sent client understands that ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE.
- Kitty will then incorporate client's revisions to the best of her abilities and return final files within a reasonable and agreed upon time frame.
- Kitty Wilder is not responsible for the uploading of the files to Audible or any other platforms.
- By agreeing to do business with Kitty Wilder, client agrees to all terms listed above.
